Description

Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist with specialization in Interventional Radiology (IR) is sought for a technical role in a healthcare setting. The position involves providing high-quality imaging services to adolescent and adult patients within an operating room environment. The technologist will be responsible for operating various imaging equipment, adhering to safety standards, and supporting surgical procedures related to body, neuro, and vascular surgery. The assignment offers a rotating schedule, with the possibility of working days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 13-week assignment, with 4 shifts of 10 hours each week. Shift start times will vary between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM based on department call shifts. Flexibility required to work holidays, respond to on-call pager from 7 PM to 7 AM, including one weekday shift and one weekend shift per month.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligibility with certification obtained prior to employment start date; ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration in radiologic technology; ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) within 18 months of start date; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 0 years of experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in sterile environments and aseptic technique; associates degree preferred; experience in body, neuro, and vascular surgery; previous scrub case experience.
  • Additional Information: The role demands competence in sterile procedures, excellent communication skills, and flexibility to adapt to various work locations and hours. Candidates should be familiar with safety guidelines and able to work in a high-tech surgical environment.
