Description

Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Technologist Location unspecified. This position involves providing high-quality radiologic imaging within the Operating room to support various surgical procedures. The role requires proficiency in a variety of equipment and fosters teamwork through effective communication, with flexibility to work at different locations, schedules, and respond to an on-call pager.

Job Details

Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, 4x10 hour shifts per week, with start times at 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM depending on call shifts. Call required from 7 PM to 7 AM, with one weekday and one weekend shift per month.
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification obtained before start date, registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T.(R)) and in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) within 18 months of start date, current Basic Life Support certification, 1 year of experience, and experience in Body, Neuro, and Vascular Surgery.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience within a sterile environment, aseptic technique, and previous scrub cases. Associates degree preferred.
Skills: Experience and/or competency in procedures involving safety guidelines, effective communication, flexibility, sterile environment, vascular and neuro surgery, scrub cases, aseptic techniques.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in related clinical procedures.
Additional Notes: Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards and team communication, with the flexibility to work varied hours, including holidays, nights, weekends, and respond to on-call situations.
Submission Requirements: Candidate must be registered with ARRT, with ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology strongly preferred; certification in Basic Life Support is required.
