Job Summary
Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) specializing in outpatient therapy is sought in a day shift setting. This role involves evaluating assigned patients, developing and implementing treatment plans focused on patient goals, and contributing to a team-oriented care environment. The position emphasizes adherence to safety, compliance standards, and professional development to ensure quality patient care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant with Pelvic Health Certification from Herman and Wallace or American Physical Therapy Association (APTA); 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Completes comprehensive patient evaluations and documents accurately and promptly, following organizational and regulatory guidelines. Participates in student supervision, provides a positive learning environment, and actively pursues professional growth through continuing education and involvement in professional organizations. Ensures compliance with state Practice Act and maintains professional licensure in good standing. Engages in organizational performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
