Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist - Interventional Cardiology - unspecified location. This role involves supporting cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses in the execution and technical analysis of procedures performed in the interventional cath lab. The technologist will integrate education, technical expertise, and patient interaction skills to ensure safe and precise treatment under supervision, while adhering to all applicable regulations and policies. The position requires providing attentive monitoring, effective communication, and potentially mentoring and training students.
Job Details
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts daily, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/24/2026 and ending on 11/23/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Relevant certifications accepted include ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS, ARRT, or RCIS; 2 years of experience in the interventional cath lab, with structural heart experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role involves accurate monitoring of patients, proficiency in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures such as ASD closures, cardiac stent placement, PCI, TAVR, and related activities. Candidates must have experience with relevant charting systems, equipment setup, fluoroscopy, PPE and isolation precautions, and recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias. Facility support includes interdisciplinary collaboration, and candidates must have uploaded valid licensure and certifications.
