Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Technologist) in San Joaquin County. This role involves operating radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images as ordered by physicians. The position requires instructing patients, adjusting equipment, and ensuring safety and quality during imaging procedures, primarily during night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 8 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in radiologic technology; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification; Radiologic Technician (RT) licensure in California; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Fluoroscopy license in California (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Additional Information: Performs screening procedures, explains procedures to patients, prepares equipment and examination rooms, positions patients, monitors safety, produces diagnostic images, documents exam information, reports findings to physicians, verifies exams on PACS, and performs other job-related duties as assigned.
