Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) Inpatient in a healthcare setting. This role involves evaluating and treating patients in an inpatient rehabilitation department, with the potential to float to acute inpatient units based on census needs. The therapist will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to aid patients in regaining independence and functional abilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 09/14/2026 to 12/14/2026
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of accredited occupational therapy program or equivalent experience, current California State licensure/license, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 0 years of experience, including previous charge experience, patient ratio experience, and charting system familiarity.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient occupational therapy, experience with acute rehabilitation, or related inpatient settings.
• Additional Information: Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs for patients with disabilities or developmental delays. Documents evaluations, develops plans of care, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams. Provides clinical supervision to assistants and aides, and may serve as a clinical instructor for students. Performs clerical duties such as updating patient records and managing documentation processes. Maintains compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, including confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI). Participates in quality improvement and interdisciplinary projects.
