Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position located in a short-term acute care facility. The role involves providing respiratory therapy services to pediatric and adolescent patients, with responsibilities including respiratory care procedures, patient assessment, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The assignment is scheduled to begin on 09/21/2026 and conclude on 12/21/2026, offering a fast-paced pediatric clinical environment with a focus on quality patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington state license, at least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience, certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and preferable experience with pediatric patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pediatric respiratory care and familiarity with electronic charting systems.
• Additional Information: The position requires the ability to perform aerosol mask setup, trach care, use of ventilators such as BiPAP and CPAP, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), and troubleshooting mechanical ventilators including high pressure alarm management. Must be flexible to float between units and work scheduled holidays with prior approval for time off. No on-call requirement. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on pediatric and adolescent respiratory care.
