Job Details

• Position Description: Physical Therapist in an inpatient setting, with a schedule of dayshift, 8-hour shifts, and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent qualifying degree), current Florida Physical Therapy license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, and 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours daily, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The therapist will perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations, develop treatment plans incorporating patient input, and collaborate with healthcare team members. Responsibilities include providing effective treatment, guiding patients through therapy, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring a safe and organized clinical environment. The role also involves educating patients and staff, managing supplies, and ensuring adherence to practice guidelines and licensure requirements.
• Certification and Continuing Education: Meets CEU requirements to maintain licensure and specialty certifications; ongoing education to stay current with clinical practices and legal requirements.
