Occupational Therapist Outpatient (OT OP) in Richmond, VA. This inpatient rehabilitation position requires experienced professionals to provide specialized therapy services to patients. Job Details
- Schedule: Days; 10-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid occupational therapy license; hospital and inpatient rehabilitation experience; experience with stroke evaluation and treatment; minimum of 1 year of professional experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro re-education, functional activity, neuromuscular re-education, and advanced skills in therapy procedures.
- Additional Information: The unit has 44 beds, with patient ratios of 4:1. The staffing includes 10 outpatient therapy teams, 3 speech therapists, and 1 technician. Equipment used includes Sara lifts, ceiling lifts, Bioness, and Diego devices. Documentation is managed via Meditech Expanse system. The role involves providing care on weekdays, with weekends rotating, and requires use of AIDET communication while maintaining a focus on immediate service recovery.
