Description

Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer Echo (Echo Sonographer) position is based at a healthcare organization in a hospital/office setting. The role involves assisting cardiology teams by performing comprehensive adult echocardiography procedures, including transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal echocardiograms. This full-time, 40-hour per week assignment requires delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and collaborating closely with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid registration as a Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International). Registry must be obtained within 1 year of employment. Must be proficient in all imaging modalities of Adult Echocardiography, including Transthoracic Echo, Stress Echo, and Transesophageal Echo (TEE). Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience and a minimum of 0 years of experience is acceptable if otherwise qualified.
  • Additional Information: Must maintain and demonstrate competency in BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) with current certification or obtain certification within the preliminary employment period. Ability to organize and multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment, maintain equipment and supply inventory, and provide patient education. Collaborative team player with good communication skills.
