Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered position in a pediatric outpatient setting. This role involves providing respiratory care, including pulmonary function tests, in a Level I trauma and critical care environment. The position requires the flexibility to float across various clinical areas, including the ICU, ED, and general pediatric care units.
Job Details:
- Location: Not specified
- Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with every other weekend required
- Required Qualifications: Valid Georgia license, active BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; must be registered and have 2+ years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience, including recent pulmonary function test proficiency; extensive critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED; Level I trauma experience highly preferred; recent Breeze software familiarity preferred; experience with pulmonary function testing and performing Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) required; Flu vaccine required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Level I trauma experience preferred; Breeze software experience considered a plus.
- Additional Information: The role involves floating for assignments in ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas. The facility is nicotine-free and will require testing along with the drug screen.
