Job Summary:
Pediatric Respiratory Therapist in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-quality respiratory care, including diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans, and patient education. The therapist will perform a variety of invasive and non-invasive procedures related to respiratory therapy, assist with related medical procedures, and monitor patient responses throughout shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/07/2026 and end on 12/07/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RT), associated degree or equivalent, valid state licensure, and at least 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience is highly preferred.
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will evaluate patient needs, operate ventilatory and oxygen equipment, and perform procedures such as suctioning, chest physiotherapy, and arterial punctures. Documentation of treatments and patient responses is essential. The role also includes participating in emergency procedures following BLS and ACLS guidelines, assisting with complex respiratory procedures, and ensuring equipment functionality.
