Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) This outpatient position is based in the organizations facility, focusing on patient evaluation, treatment planning, and education. The role involves developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to improve patient outcomes in a clinical outpatient setting.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Active Michigan (MI) Physical Therapist (PT) license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, one year of relevant work history, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities:
  • Evaluates the patients function through formal and informal testing to determine skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status.
  • Develops goal-specific treatment regimens based on assessment data and patient tolerance, submitting and updating plans of care in coordination with physician orders.
  • Devises a treatment schedule tailored to patient needs and coordinates with clinical support staff.
  • Educates patients, families, and caregivers regarding pathology, prognosis, and treatment rationale using various intervention methods.
• Required Qualifications: Active Michigan (MI) Physical Therapist (PT) license, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, one year of pertinent work history, and relevant skills.
