Description
Job Summary:
Pharmacist Inpatient (Specialty: PHARM IP) in a hospital setting. This position involves working in a unit with a focus on prescription fulfillment and community pharmacy-oriented care. The role requires adapting to a fast-paced inpatient environment, ensuring accurate medication management, and supporting unit operations.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Start date is 09/07/2026 and end date is 11/30/2026.
- Required Qualifications: NC Pharmacist License, current NC Pharmacist License.
- Preferred Qualifications: Immunization Certified, PioneerRx proficiency.
- Additional Information: The unit typically fulfills 70-75 prescriptions daily, and candidates should have retail pharmacy experience with a community pharmacy orientation. Dress code is business professional, and the unit operates with one pharmacist and one pharmacy technician. No call or weekend requirements.
