Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a healthcare setting. This role involves independently or in collaboration with a physician administering medications, performing therapeutic modalities, and diagnostic testing for the cardio-pulmonary system. The position requires responding to emergency situations, providing CPR, and maintaining life support systems, primarily focusing on pediatric respiratory care.
Job Details:
- Location: The position is located in an organization that restricts local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
- Schedule: Nights shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, totaling 12 hours per shift.
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience
- Previous travel work experience preferred
- Valid Michigan (MI) license
- Active certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Active American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Active Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Skills Checklist relevant to respiratory therapy, issued within the last year
- Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
- Certifications: NRP, BLS (AHA), NBRC, ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
- Start Date: 09/07/2026
- End Date: 12/07/2026
