Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (Registered) position available in a high-volume healthcare facility in Jackson, MS. This role involves providing advanced respiratory care in various ICU settings, including neonatal, adult, and burn units. The position requires strong clinical skills, integrity, and excellent time management, with no required call responsibilities. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/12/2026 and conclude on 01/10/2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS; Licensure as Mississippi Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP); a minimum of 3 years of acute care hospital experience; valid RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification; minimum 17 years of related experience; no call requirement.
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
- Additional Information: No float requirements. Candidates must be prepared for a demanding workload, including working across multiple ICU units and during holiday periods between 11/22/2026 and 01/05/2027. Routine participation in two weekends per month is expected, with an option to work all weekends. The facility is within a 50-mile radius of the candidate's location.
