Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing advanced respiratory care for pediatric patients, including ventilatory support, assessment, treatment planning, and patient education. The practitioner will perform routine and complex procedures to support respiratory function and collaborate with medical teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid respiratory therapy license, pediatric experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and no minimum experience required from the employer's perspective
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric respiratory care and advanced airway management
• Additional Information: Performs comprehensive respiratory assessments, manages ventilatory equipment, assists with procedures including bronchoscopy, tracheostomy care, and arterial puncture. Operates and maintains various ventilatory devices, ensures proper documentation, and communicates effectively with the healthcare team throughout shifts. Maintains compliance with policies and safety standards, including quality control and routine equipment checks.
