Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Clinical (IR CL) Technician based in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized support for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the interventional radiology department. The role requires a highly skilled professional capable of managing procedure setups, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety during complex interventional procedures. The assignment is scheduled to commence on 09/21/2026 and conclude on 12/21/2026.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification(s) in ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Interventional Radiology (IR) specialty and Basic Life Support (BLS). No minimum years of experience specified, but at least 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Interventional Radiology procedures such as Angiography, Angioplasty, Embolization, Carotid Angiography, Stent placement, Central Venous Access/Port Placement, Dialysis Graft interventions, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, and use of Siemens equipment. Proficiency with charting systems like EPIC and familiarity with handling sterile techniques, PACS, and equipment setup.
  • Special Requirements: Prior experience in Neuro IR, Stroke, and Body IR procedures using Siemens equipment. Must be willing to float within scope to meet department needs, including possible regular floating between departments, units, and facilities.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Clinician will cover on-call requirements, including nights and weekends. Must be able to support patient care for adults and geriatrics, ensuring adherence to PPE and sterile techniques during procedures. No local candidates within 75 miles are accepted; travel compliance between Kansas and Missouri may be required.
  • Submittal Details: All compliance documents, modules, and training must be completed prior to start date, including EPIC training, infusion pump, and glucometer courses. RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 7 days, finalized at the time of submission.
