Job Summary
MRI Technologist position located in an acute care setting. The role involves operating MRI equipment, including General Electric Eccentricity systems, and working with PACS and Epic tracking systems. The schedule is dayshift, with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., totaling 37.5 hours per week. The position requires a qualified radiologic technologist with relevant certifications and licensing.
Job Details
- Schedule: Shift hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Successful completion of formal radiologic technology training, experience with MRI/CT equipment, radiographic exposure equipment, PACS, and General Electric Eccentricity. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), licensure and certification by the State of New York, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and minimum of 1 year of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic tracking systems and additional radiologic certifications.
- Additional Information: All candidates must meet licensing requirements for MRI and radiologic practice in New York state, with willingness to wait for license submission.
