Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position is located in a healthcare facility focusing on pediatric respiratory care. The role involves providing respiratory therapy to pediatric patients, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and overall respiratory support. The position is a 13-week contract scheduled for 12-hour day shifts, with weekends rotating.
Job Details:
- Shift: 12-hour days
- Schedule: 08/24/2026 through 11/23/2026, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) for pediatric positions; Education requirements include current Respiratory Therapist certification; Location is within a pediatric care unit; Experience required is at least 1 year in respiratory therapy or related pediatric settings
- Preferred Qualifications: ICU, NICU, and PICU experience; PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support); experience managing oxygen, nebulizers, and ventilators on pediatric patients
- Additional Information: Candidates will be expected to perform procedures such as oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and nebulizer treatments. Dress code includes scrub tops in olive green with black bottoms. Unit policies, guidelines, and awards are available, highlighting a supportive environment with advanced equipment and a dedicated team.
