Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) in central North Carolina. This position involves providing respiratory care to pediatric, adult, and occasionally neonatal patients in a 137-bed acute care facility. The role offers the opportunity to work independently during night shifts, contributing to a team that supports a diverse patient population.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift with minimum hours per week of 36, spanning from September 7, 2026, to December 7, 2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, Bachelors or Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy, valid state licensure, at least 1 year of experience in respiratory care, ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications, experience with NICU is required
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric and neonatal respiratory care including COPD and respiratory distress cases
- Additional Information: Able to work independently at night. The unit features equipment such as V-60 ventilators, Servo-I, and Optiflow. The environment primarily serves geriatric and adult patients, with occasional pediatrics and neonatal cases.
- Travel: All travelers must have required certifications prior to start.
- Note: Orientation is weekly on Mondays.
