Description

Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a hospital setting located in the area. This role involves providing advanced respiratory care for pediatric and adult patients, administering a variety of therapies and diagnostic tests, and collaborating closely with medical staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. The position requires a high level of technical skill and the ability to work independently during night shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, approximately 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner issued by the State of California, valid current license, and eligibility for registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Must hold required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. At least 0 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in acute care.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
  • Additional Information: Responsibilities include administering invasive and non-invasive respiratory therapies, performing diagnostic tests such as EKG, Pulmonary Function tests, and Echocardiograms, interpreting arterial blood gases, and managing ventilator support for pediatric and adult patients.
