Description
Job Summary:
X-ray Technologist in a healthcare setting responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures on both pediatric and adult patients. The role involves rotating through multiple departments including surgery, ports, pediatrics, and emergency room, with an emphasis on trauma level one care. The position requires adherence to hospital Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as an X-ray Technologist, valid driver's license or state ID, successful completion of UHS Skills Checklist and UHS Prior Employment Form, and 1 year of experience in radiologic technology.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in trauma level one environments, pediatric experience, and familiarity with multiple imaging modalities.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position involves rotating through various clinical departments including surgery, ports, pediatrics, and the emergency room, with responsibilities focused on high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
