Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in the region. This role involves providing comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric patients, including evaluation, treatment, and teaching. The position requires the professional to operate ventilatory and oxygen delivery systems, perform diagnostic procedures, and collaborate with the care team to support patient recovery and well-being.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) Registered; graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program; licensed or registered as required by the state; 1 year of relevant pediatric respiratory care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with pediatric patients, proficiency in airway management including intubation and tracheostomy care, and familiarity with pediatric-specific therapeutic devices.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist is responsible for operating ventilatory equipment, performing chest physiotherapy, suctioning, arterial punctures, and assisting with advanced procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement. Ensures accurate documentation, equipment maintenance, and adheres to all clinical and safety protocols.
