Description
Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient in a clinical setting located in the area. This outpatient position involves evaluating assigned patients and developing tailored treatment plans to support their recovery and return to community activities. The role emphasizes patient education, safety, and adherence to organizational standards, making it suitable for candidates with minimal experience and a commitment to professional development.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; at least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR certification; location requirements as specified; minimum 0 years of experience.
- Completes comprehensive evaluations of patients, utilizing clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans with goals focused on discharge within an established length of stay.
- Performs medical record documentation that is clear, concise, and compliant with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines, including goal writing, functional assessments, and letter of medical necessity.
- Ensures all care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
- Participates in student training programs, providing a positive learning environment with appropriate supervision.
- Creates and pursues a personal professional development plan, engaging in continuing education and professional activities.
- Maintains licensure in good standing and completes all mandated continuing education requirements.
- Understands and participates in the organizations performance improvement initiatives, providing feedback to enhance service quality.
