Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in a Pediatric Emergency Department on the night shift. This role involves providing respiratory care for pediatric patients in a busy ED setting, supporting staff with respiratory equipment, and adhering to unit policies and procedures.

Job Details:

• Location: Pediatric Emergency Department at a medical facility with a 15-bed pediatric unit, located on the 3rd floor of a healthcare facility.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in respiratory therapy, active license as a Respiratory Therapist registered (RT R), education requirements as per state regulations, at least 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, and ability to work nights.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric critical care, skills in bronchiolitic scoring, respiratory arrest management, noninvasive ventilation, and invasive ventilation.
• Additional Information: The unit uses Meditech electronic medical records and respiratory equipment. Floating to pediatric spaces may be required. The team values experienced staff and offers a competitive environment with modern equipment.
