Description
Job Summary:
Physicist specialty position in LaCrosse, WI. This role involves collaborating with senior staff to maintain quality assurance programs, evaluating new technology and techniques, and providing radiation safety education. The position requires strong expertise in therapeutic medical physics and experience with advanced imaging and treatment systems.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8-hour shifts with variable start and end times between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM. Guaranteed 40 hours per week, with no on-call or callback requirements.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications from the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or an equivalent American Board of Medical Physics certification in Radiation Therapy Physics; Masters Degree; 5+ years of experience in the specialty; experience with Aria, Eclipse, and Truebeam; minimum experience of 0 years; location in LaCrosse, WI.
- Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate Degree.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have previous travel experience, hold W-2 employment status, and be able to start the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of acceptance. The role includes responsibilities such as evaluating new technology, maintaining templates and equipment, and providing safety education. The work includes procedures such as VMAT, SRS, SBRT, and 3D planning. Interviews are scheduled Monday through Friday via manager phone and MSP interviews.
