Description
Job Summary:
Xray Technologist position in Birmingham, Alabama. This role involves routine radiology procedures, including portable and operating room imaging, with the opportunity to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering quality imaging services to a diverse patient population across all age groups.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, a minimum of 2 years of experience, and location-specific requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: Intermediate to advanced skills, ability to work independently, experience with OR and portables imaging.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The technologist will work with newborn to geriatric patients, including critical and ambulatory cases. The position involves using GE equipment and Cerner electronic medical records. The role requires a professional attitude, an easy-going personality, and compliance with dress code standards, including solid grey scrubs.
