Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasound Technician Ultrasound Technician General position available in a healthcare setting. This role involves providing diagnostic imaging services using ultrasound equipment, with a specific focus on general ultrasound procedures. The position requires a commitment to a night shift schedule and adherence to standard clinical protocols to ensure patient care quality.
Job Details:
- Location: Night shift (6:00 PM 6:00 AM) on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Schedule requests are subject to managerial approval.
- Required Qualifications: Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, applicable state license (VT license must be applied for upon acceptance), and previous ultrasound experience. No minimum experience is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system experience is preferred.
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have reliable transportation, as public transportation is not accessible. Prior to submission, the profile packet must be complete and accurate, including work history with correct health system details, bed counts, EMR technology, facility type or trauma level, ratios, and explanations for employment gaps over 30 days. No local candidates are acceptable for this assignment.
