Description

Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CVT) / Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) within a hospital setting in Jacksonville. This 13-week contract involves working in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory providing advanced cardiovascular care for a diverse patient population, from neonates to adults. The role emphasizes procedural support, electrophysiology, and interventional cardiology, with rotating overnight and weekend call coverage.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour days, 4 days per week (Variable days), totaling 40 hours weekly.
  • Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of recent cardiovascular technology or cath lab experience, previous travel experience, no gaps in clinical employment of 180 days or more, no unexplained work history gaps exceeding 30 days, Florida State License if submitting under ARRT certification, valid certifications in RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), required certifications, Florida license if applicable, and must include facility type, electronic medical record system, and bed count in profile, along with at least one professional reference dated within the last 12 months.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Structural heart procedures, Watchman procedures, peripheral vascular experience, Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), interventional cardiology, and heart failure management experience.
  • Additional Information: The assignment requires rotating overnight and weekend call coverage, with important notes including a 50-mile radius rule, hospital-issued scrubs, maximum of 8 days RTO during the 13-week period, and a hospital interview. The start date is 09/21/2026 and the ending date is 12/26/2026.
