Description
Job Summary:
Mammographer in Alpharetta, Georgia. This position involves performing all types of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms, in an autonomous setting. The role requires competency in stereotactic biopsy, quality control related to mammography, and working independently with indirect supervision.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10:00 AM 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Location: Alpharetta Breast Care Center, 3400-C Old Milton Parkway Suite 145, Alpharetta, Georgia 30005
- Certifications and Education Requirements: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), American Association of Radiologic Technologists (AART) certification for Mammography
- Years of Experience: 2 years of recent experience within mammography specialty
- Additional Requirements: Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to perform quality control related to mammography
- Responsibilities: Performing all types of mammography procedures, including needle localization and ductograms, working with minimal supervision
- Holiday Expectations: Must work two major holidays from the following listThanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Dayand one minor holidayFriday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Years Eve
