Description
Job Summary:
Xray Technologist position in a healthcare setting. The role involves performing radiologic examinations, assisting in clerical functions, and ensuring patients are efficiently flow through the radiology department. The shift is rotating, with on-call responsibilities, and requires adherence to departmental protocols and safety standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts with 10 hours per shift and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Completion of a Radiologic Technology program; knowledge of standard radiologic terminology; ARRT registered or registry eligible; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; currently registered with the relevant licensing board.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Performs all steps of X-ray procedures, maintains cleanliness of all radiology department areas, manages supply inventory, and performs other duties as assigned.
