Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray procedures, located in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma hospital. The role involves performing routine portable and fluoroscopic procedures, establishing effective communication with medical staff and patients, adhering to safety protocols in accordance with ALARA principles, and thoroughly documenting all procedures. The position requires proficiency in operating room environments and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 4x10s; 12:30 PM - 10:00 PM every Thursday through Sunday, with a minimum of 30 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: - Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, NYS Radiology Technologist license, ARRT(R) certification, BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross) - Experience in operating room procedures and Level 1 or 2 Trauma hospital settings - Attention to Detail, Collaboration, Continuous Learning, Initiative, Judgement/Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Quality, Reliability, Technical Expertise - 0 years of experience minimum
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The technologist will demonstrate the ability to perform a wide range of imaging procedures, ensure safety compliance, and engage in patient education and documentation to ensure optimal care. The position involves maintaining effective communication with referring physicians, radiologists, and ancillary departments, along with adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
