Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Oregon working night shifts. This role involves assessing patients' respiratory status, administering treatments, evaluating responses, and providing patient education on respiratory care, health, and wellness. The position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: One year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in an acute hospital setting. Some experience with infants and pediatrics. Current certifications include Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA). Valid Oregon state licensing.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with pediatric and infant patient populations.
- Additional Information: The on-call schedule and weekend schedule are to be determined by the facility.
