Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position available in a short term acute care facility. The role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services primarily on medical-surgical units, with float coverage to ICU, ED, and ASU as needed. The therapist may be the sole provider on shift at times, requiring experienced candidates comfortable working independently. The schedule features day shifts, totaling 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Shift hours are 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The assignment begins on 09/14/2026 and ends on 12/14/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license preferred), at least 1 year of experience in inpatient or acute care settings, and certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with acute care and adaptive devices, familiarity with Epic charting system, and experience working independently during shifts where the therapist is the only provider.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing a daily census of approximately 30 patients, performing 8 visits per day, and working with diverse patient diagnoses such as post-falls, failure to thrive, and post-total joint replacements. Flexibility to float between units including ICU, ED, and ASU is essential, and candidates must be willing to work at least 2 weekend days per pay period. RTO requests should be submitted upfront, and candidates must be willing to work 3 of the 5 specified holidays.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Oregon License.
• Tools & Equipment: Use of assistive devices such as front-wheeled walkers, crutches, ceiling lifts, and Hoyer lifts.
