Description
Job Summary:
A Sleep Technologist is needed in the specified location to provide specialized diagnostic sleep studies and titrations with minimal supervision. This position involves working night shifts in a newly established sleep center, requiring technical proficiency in polysomnography and strong clinical skills to ensure high-quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift - 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, Monday through Wednesday, with potential schedule flexibility among contracted technologists.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of recent, relevant experience; Sleep Technologist Certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; located within commuting distance.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working independently in a sleep center environment; familiarity with Nihon Kohden/Polysmith sleep system; strong troubleshooting and scoring skills aligned with American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) standards.
- Additional Information: The role involves performing routine diagnostic sleep studies, PAP titrations, and advanced titrations. Candidates should be attentive to detail, capable of working alone during some night shifts, and responsive to patient needs and emergencies in a standalone facility. Support is available from senior staff during the day, with coordination from the Clinical Coordinator.
