Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Smyrna, Tennessee. Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications. No minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred, previous pediatric respiratory experience advantageous.
- Additional Information: The role involves performing procedures on pediatric patients, with emphasis on teamwork, problem solving, and maintaining a positive attitude. The department utilizes Meditech documentation system and has policies supporting patient experience, including AIDET communication standards and medication teaching protocols.
