Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) nights located in Salem, VA. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services on a busy unit with over 500 beds, supporting both pediatric and adult patients. The position requires ensuring optimal patient care through ventilator management, blood gas analysis, and other respiratory procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, no minimum experience required, located within the specified area, available to start from 09/21/2026, and end by 12/21/2026
• Preferred Qualifications: ICU experience, vent and Bipap management skills, proficiency with blood gas analysis, and experience with ICU equipment such as EPOC Blood Gases, PB 840, Newport, ReVel, LTV, V60 ventilators
• Additional Information: The role involves floating to critical care units including CICU, SICU, and MICU, with a dress code of royal blue scrubs. The shift includes rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities for three 12-hour shifts from 7 pm to 7 am.
