Description

Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo (Ultrasound Technician - Echocardiography) in Templeton. This role involves performing echocardiography procedures to produce detailed images of the heart and its vessels. The position requires collaboration with cardiologists to assess cardiac function and diagnose conditions, utilizing advanced ultrasound equipment in a clinical setting.

Job Details:

Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours shift hours, minimum 36 hours per week, start date 09/14/2026, end date 12/13/2026
Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelors), currently certified, or eligible to be certified, with a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); Echocardiography (ECG) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy; facility specific license/certifications as needed
Essential Functions: Sets up ultrasound equipment, prepares patients by positioning and applying gels, attaches electrodes, reviews medical records, provides patient instructions, performs echocardiography on treadmill patients, maintains equipment and supplies, manages patient data and schedules, participates in educational opportunities, maintains confidentiality, and performs other related duties
Additional Information: Must have EPIC (Electronic Medical Records system) proficiency. Call responsibilities are part of the role, including evening and every other weekend on call shifts following work hours. Opportunities to pick up extra shifts at sister campus are available.
