Description
Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist position in a healthcare facility located in the community. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing nuclear medicine techniques to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning. The position requires adherence to clinical protocols and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technologies (CNMT), certification in Positron Emission Tomography (PET), at least 1 year of relevant experience, valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations, proficiency in electronic charting systems such as Epic, prior community hospital or outpatient clinic experience.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have at least one year of clinical experience, with familiarity in patient care for adult and geriatric patients. Travel experience is not explicitly required. Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Verification of references covering the past year is required.
