Job Summary
Mammographer - [Location] - This position involves operating mammography equipment and providing diagnostic imaging services in a healthcare setting. The role requires leadership experience and adherence to safety and quality protocols to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
Job Details
- Certifications: ARRT R (Registered Radiologic Technologist), ARRT M (Mammography Certification), BLS (Basic Life Support), Washington State License
- Education & Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of experience, including prior lead or charge experience in mammography; minimum of 1 year healthcare imaging experience.
- Shift Details: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Additional Qualifications: Proficient in 3-D Mammography, Digital Mammography, Hologic 3D, Inpatient and Outpatient settings, Radiation Safety, Stereotactic Biopsy, Breast Ultrasound, and managing/leading imaging teams.
- Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic biopsies, manage imaging equipment, ensure patient safety and comfort, and lead imaging team activities.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Hologic Affirm BX*, Digital Quality Assurance Procedures, and interpretations of complex mammography cases.
- Additional Information: Candidates must include responses to prior employment at Providence facilities if applicable, provide two references covering one year within the last three years, and be prepared to work the specified schedule and holidays.
