Job Summary:
MRI Technologist position located in an organization hubbing a 58-bed licensed facility. The role involves performing MRI imaging procedures mainly on outpatient geriatric patients, with occasional inpatient and emergency department cases. The position requires confident clinical MRI skills and strong patient interaction abilities within a predominantly elderly population.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM; no weekends.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) and ARRT (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 2-3 years of clinical MRI experience, valid state license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system, PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), GE MRI machine familiarity.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Willingness to assist with X-ray procedures if experienced and comfortable.
  • Expectation to help with patient lifting within the department when not busy.
  • Full hospital orientation followed by a week of departmental training with a senior MRI technologist; travelers will not be left unattended during initial training period.
  • Scrub color is black; footwear must be closed-toed nursing or tennis shoes. Parking provided free of charge.
  • The opportunity may involve working one holiday with the same schedule.
  • Schedule cycle released every 6 weeks.
