Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) for a pediatric critical care position in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The role involves providing respiratory therapy services across multiple campuses, with scheduled shifts during day and night hours. The assignment offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on patient care in pediatric critical care settings.

Job Details:

• Location: Phoenix, AZ with potential to float between three campuses
• Schedule: Night shifts available, with every other weekend required; shift hours are 12 hours per day
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• End Date: 03/27/2027
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program
  • Two (2) years of experience as a licensed respiratory therapist, including pediatric critical care experience (Level III or IV NICU experience strongly preferred)
  • Current, active, and permanent State of Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner license
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Experience with Harris Healthcare Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Membership with the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Additional Information:

• Orientation and training will be conducted at the main campus
• Vaccination for COVID-19 is recommended but not required; flu vaccination is mandatory from October through April, with exemption procedures available
• The role involves floating between campuses, but float rotation is not required
• The position requires adherence to respiratory virus masking protocols during full respiratory virus season
