Description

Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo in a high-acuity, fast-paced healthcare facility. The position involves performing echocardiography procedures on a diverse patient population, including adult and pediatric patients, with a focus on delivering high-quality imaging. The role requires quick thinking, clinical judgment, and the ability to work efficiently in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in BLS and either ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or CCI (Registered Cardiac Sonographer), with at least 4 years of echocardiography experience at high-acuity, fast-paced facilities. Experience with adult cardiology patient types such as coronary artery disease, hypertension, post-transcatheter aortic valve replacement, transesophageal echocardiography, and pediatric patients (typically 3-4 patients per week). Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric patients is preferred, with proficiency in high-quality scans across a broad spectrum of echocardiographic procedures.
  • Floating: Floating to outpatient clinics across the street at 406 South 30th Ave, Suite 101; floating to both outpatient and inpatient settings may be required.
  • Weekend Rotation: Work occurs every other weekend, specifically on the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month.
  • On Call: One weeknight shift per week and one weekend every 4th weekend, with a 30-minute response time.
  • Additional Information: The position involves performing high-quality echocardiograms, supporting clinical decision-making, and working efficiently within a team. Must be able to adapt quickly to different clinical environments and patient needs.
