Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo position is available in a healthcare organization located in the area. The role involves operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment specialized in cardiac imaging, including M-Mode, 2-D, color, Doppler, exercise testing, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). The successful candidate will be an experienced professional capable of performing advanced cardiac scans and working independently.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associate's degree in radiology or equivalent certification; RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification; current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification; 5+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician preferred, including proficiency in TEE, TTE, and Stress echo; knowledge of Lumason imaging agent and bubble studies; familiarity with Philips ultrasound equipment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Epic electronic health record system; ability to start IVs is a plus.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The Cardiac Sonographer operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures, reporting to the Supervisor Cardiac Sonographer. This position entails high-level cardiac imaging responsibilities, including advanced studies and patient care.
