Description
Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist position in an outpatient setting. This role involves operating stationary radiographic equipment in the Heart and Vascular Center to produce diagnostic images for physician review. The technologist will demonstrate proficiency in general anatomy, imaging fundamentals, radiation safety, and basic computer skills, working independently and collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient care. The position requires experience with fluoroscopy, vascular, cardiac diagnostic, and interventional procedures, specifically in a Cath Lab environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with an 80 hours per pay period.
- Required Qualifications: Certification or license verification; recent Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience within the last 12 months; Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) licensure; Cath Lab experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in interventional radiology or Cath Lab procedures.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Must be able to provide exceptional patient care and satisfaction skills to all customers of the organization. Call obligation required with a 30-minute response time, averaging around 12 call days including 2 weekends over a six-week period.
