Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) for a healthcare facility in a day shift setting. This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care, including evaluations, treatments, patient education, and operating ventilatory equipment for pediatric patients. The role requires assessing patient needs, assisting with respiratory procedures, and collaborating with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred; current licensure aligned with state requirements; minimum of 0 years of experience; location flexibility for working within the designated service area.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric respiratory care experience, CPR certification (AHA), ACLS certification, and familiarity with pediatric respiratory equipment and procedures.
• Additional Information: Performs respiratory care procedures in accordance with hospital policies and protocols. Operates ventilatory and airway management equipment, performs patient assessments, and documents treatments accurately. Supports patient and family education on respiratory management. Maintains equipment functionality, communicates with physicians regarding therapy effectiveness, and adheres to safety and infection control standards.
