Radiology Technologist (Xray Technician) Birmingham, AL. This position involves providing radiologic imaging services in a healthcare facility specializing in a range of medical services including stroke care, cardiovascular services, and surgical care. The role requires working overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment, supporting patient care from newborns to geriatrics.
Job Details
- Certifications: ARRT, BLS
- Education Requirements: Current certification as a radiologic technologist, with applicable state licensure if required.
- Years of Experience: 2 years of relevant radiology experience preferred; minimum of 1 year required.
- Location Requirements: Must be able to work night shifts, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours guaranteed weekly.
- Schedule: Night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position involves working independently with moderate to advanced experience, operating GE imaging equipment, including portable radiography, in a high-volume hospital setting. Candidate must be adaptable to different patient conditions from neonatal to geriatric, with a personable and easy-going personality.
