Job Summary
X-Ray Technologist Location: Not Specified. This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures in a hospital or healthcare facility setting. The role requires adherence to safety and operational protocols, with a focus on providing quality imaging services in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Reporting to the organization, the X-Ray Technologist will operate imaging equipment, including Phillips, Carestream, GE OEC c-arm, and Siemens Cysto, to acquire diagnostic images for patient care. The candidate must be prepared to work rotating shifts, including weekdays and weekends.
- Required Qualifications: Active Iowa/IA license or State Permit highly preferred; ARRT certification required; BLS Basic Life Support certification required; at least 15 months of X-Ray experience in a clinical or hospital setting; current drivers license; and ability to accept a position starting on 09/14/2026 for a duration of approximately 3 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: IA radiology license highly preferred; experience with operating room procedures, fluoro imaging, and portable equipment highly valued.
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed. First-time travelers are welcome; candidates must have at least 24 months of X-Ray experience. Submission requirements include a professional reference from within the past 24 months.
