Job Details

  • Certifications: Proof of passing the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); RRT required for all new hires after October 1, 2015, with incumbents in the role as of October 1, 2015, required to possess RRT by October 1, 2017; current license in state practiced as required by law; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Education: Associate or technical degree.
  • Experience: 1 year of clinical experience; highly knowledgeable of clinical techniques, applications, and equipment.
  • Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS).
  • Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Start Date: 09/14/2026.
  • End Date: 12/12/2026.
  • Additional Information: Performs all basic modalities of respiratory care based on physician prescriptions, manages mechanical ventilators, assembles, maintains, and troubleshoots respiratory equipment, performs pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing, evaluates patient response, documents therapy, and collaborates with health care team members. May supervise department staff, with some shifts possibly requiring float rotation.
