Job Details

• Position Description: Provides all basic modalities of respiratory care as prescribed by physicians and licensed independent practitioners, including application and management of mechanical ventilators and diagnostic testing for pulmonary and cardiology assessments.
• Required Qualifications: Associate or technical degree; proof of passing the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); current license as required by the state where practicing; Blood Gas Technologist certification in Nevada if applicable; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs patient assessments, documents therapy, and communicates with care teams to modify treatment plans. May supervise department staff. Provides respiratory care, pulmonary, and cardiology testing in various health care settings.
